As Granville & Co. AG is a privately owned investor relations and corporate finance boutique, its Partners maintain an entrepreneurial and performance-oriented attitude in working for their clients. We can tailor our services to the specific needs of a client, and engage ourselves to be fully committed to ensuring those needs are met.
Granville offers support to to its corporate clients wishing to improve their market positioning and better understand the expectations of the investment community, through market awareness and capital programs, throughout Switzerland, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, the United Kingdom and the Middle East.
Our primary role is to introduce our client companies to key financial groups within the European and Middle Eastern investment community who can make a positive impact on the share value of our clients. The meetings are generally held on a one-on-one basis with a senior executive or two representing the client firm. Meeting times are scheduled during over one or two-day "walkaround" visits per city, plus a presentation during lunch to a selected group of investors.
Prior to each meeting, the banker, investor, broker or analyst will have received a summary presentation on the corporate client., and the client will have received a briefing sheet about the investor parties being met.
Regular meetings with analysts and investors offer a number of advantages to companies as well as providing an opportunity to attract new investors and increase buy-side analyst research coverage:
- they are an excellent opportunity to provide visibility for top management and to give investors an opportunity to evaluate management and its strategy;
- these meetings educate and inform target audiences about the company's business and its operating and financial results;
- the investment community has an opportunity to ask questions about the company's progress and prospects.
Our services are tailor made to each individual client, and range from uniquely one-on-one meetings to a mix of one-on-one meetings and group luncheon presentations (see note below on luncheon presentations).
We handle all logistics: inviting and confirming potential investors, arranging for the venue and audio-visual equipment for the presentation, and hosting the group or one-on-one meetings.
When luncheon presentations are part of the agenda, they are scheduled with an initial half hour networking session, followed by the meal. During the meal, the senior management team makes the presentation and a question and answer session follows during coffee and desserts.
Unless our clients specifically requests a large audience, luncheon presentations are limited to a 10 to 15 participants, to allow each manager to make a personal connection with the audience, and with this objective in mind, we also schedule extra time at the end of the presentation for one-on-one follow up with interested attendees.
